About Us
We moved to the beautiful Yorkshire Wolds from the South of England and have never looked back. The rolling hills, unspoilt countryside and nearby historic city of York have kept us enchanted since our arrival. With the help of family and friends we planned and built Wolds Edge, starting with Mill Pond Lodge in 2005 beside the restored pond, now a thriving wildlife haven.
In 2010 we bought the land known as Wolds Edge and began designing the site around its natural features. Each lodge has been built to complement the environment, using locally sourced materials. Our vision has transformed this small rural field into an award-winning collection of luxury self-catering accommodation.
Deepdale and Fairydale were the first lodges, and the site has gradually grown into seven individual lodges, two Snug Huts and our Treehouse.
Our aim is to create a peaceful, sustainable holiday location where you can explore the culture, coast and countryside—or simply relax.
